Series 7” Kolinsky Sable Water Colour Brushes
As with so many of Winsor & Newton top quality products, their excellence can in part be attributed to the rigorous selection of only the highest raw materials. This tradition of excellence began in 1866 when Her Majesty Queen Victoria gave orders that Winsor & Newton be commanded to produce brushes of the highest possible quality in her favourite size No.7.
The legacy lives on today with Series 7. Only the purest Kolinsky Sable hair is used. This is what gives the brush its perfect point for optimal control. Its large colour carrying capacity means colour flows evenly and consistently from the point so stroke after stroke of colour can be laid down. The Series 7 comes with a seamless nickel plated ferrule to prevent rusting and is finished with a polished black handle.
Each Series 7 is hand made at Winsor & Newton's brush factory in Lowerstoff, Suffolk and is regarded as unrivaled amongst Sable brushes.
